1) Acute Paronychia

2) Chronic Paronychia
Chronic Paronychia can occur on your finger or toes and its come on slowly.
Sign and Symptoms
1) Redness of the skin around the nail.
2) Tenderness of the skin around the nail.
3)Pus filled blisters.
4) Change in nail shape,color or texture.
5) Detachment of your nail.
Who's at risk ?
1) It’s may occur at any age but is often common in children.
2)Viral Paronychia most often occur in Adults and may seem with genital herpes infection.
3)The people who work in the health care industry.
4) Chronic Paronychia is most common in adult women who work in places where their hands are kept incist.
Prevention
Keep your hand and feet clean and dry as possible.
Home remedies
1)Try soaking the nails in worm water for acuy Paronychia.
2)Avoid water and chemical exposure to prevent chronic Paronychia.
Treatment
1) puncture and drain the affected area.
2) Apply topical antibiotics , antiviral or antifungal cream as prescribed by your doctor.
3) Take oral antibiotics, antifungal or antiviral (in herpes) as prescribed by your doctor.
